The 1975 North American Tour 2024

‘The 1975’ is a British indie rock group from Manchester. They are famous for outrageous song texts about sex, drugs, love, hope, death and fear. The history of their music career started in 2004: 4 teenagers decided to play music and to create the music group. But fame came to boys 8 years later; before their first studio album, ‘The 1975’ which was emited on September, 2, members of the group have already recorded 4 EPs. The second studio album named ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It got a ‘compliment’ from NME magazine: they said that album became the best disk of 2016 (‘The 1975’ got the first place in top-50).

‘The 1975’ isn’t the only one name of the band. Before they had chosen it, boys made their tracks under the names like ‘Talkhouse’, ‘The Slowdown’, ‘B I G S L E E P’ and ‘Drive Like I Do’. So many names are not unusual: according to the band’s history, guys decided to start music career when they were teenagers and, of course, they weren’t ready to choose the final name at that time. The band has already gone on tours. For example, in 2013 they had an international one. In 2020 they are going to have a ‘North American tour’ which starts on January, 9 in Belfast SSE Arena and ends on January, 25 in Sheffield FLYDSA Arena. This tour will start a little bit later than band will release their third studio album which is called ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’ scheduled on the very end of November.
